The origins of La Calanque Bleue

In 1946, a small straw hut was created above the Calanque. After several decades of improvements, the restaurant La Calanque Bleue was born to offer a regional cuisine, with the Bouillabaisse being the speciality.

and the « Bouillabaisse Challenge »

Goal: To promote Bouillabaisse around the world!

The restaurant's entire brigade travels the world to promote the region's speciality. The aim is to share the local cuisine of Marseille and Provence with other cultures.

In 2019 and 2021, the team travelled to New York and shared its traditions and know-how.

The next edition will take place in 2023 with Tokyo, Japan as its destination!
